Disney World Outfit Planning
With our next Disney World trip just 2 days away, I have been pulling clothes and ears out and setting them aside for the trip for the last few weeks. As I mentioned in my Disneyland outfit post (read it here), I never pack until the day before I travel because I don’t trust myself (even though I make lists, I am never fully sure if the item crossed of the list is really in the suitcase or not, so I end up unpacking the whole thing the night before and re-packing it again, anyway, just to make sure). I still gather things and try to arrange them together on our guest bed to help me visualize what I want to bring for each day. This post will detail what I’m planning to wear each day!
First off, for our travel day, I’m just going to wear some comfy leggings on the plane with my cotton candy Disney World Spirit Jersey. I’ll pair that with my Disney x Vans sneakers (my mom gave them to me as an early Christmas gift!) and I’ll be good to go.
Once we arrive, a wardrobe change will definitely be necessary (traveling from cold CT to warm FL makes it impossible to dress for the whole day when we leave the house at 4:30 AM).
We’re heading to Hollywood Studios first so I’ll change into my believe in magic tank from The Crafty Sunflower and pair it with black sequin ears with a Christmas bow from my shop and my Minnie x New Balance sneakers. I’ll bring my Once Upon AH Monogram Mickey Christmas sweatshirt in the backpack in case it gets chilly later on.
Day 2 will bring us to Epcot, but we 1st have a reservation for the Bon Voyage Breakfast as Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk. If I’m meeting Ariel and Eric, I have to dress for it, so I’ll wear my purple Wandering Free tee from All Things Cute Designs (I don’t think she has it in stock right now but keep an eye out) with my tiffany blue Part of Your World Aloha Ears with a purple velvet bow.
Once we leave breakfast, I’ll swap out for my d3tees Spaceship Earth slouchy pocket tee and Grand and Miraculous Aloha Ears and I’ll probably stick with the same purple velvet bow, or switch to silver. Either way, I’ll wear my Spaceship Earth sneakers along with the outfit.
I’ll also bring my grey Best Day Ever sweatshirt from Happily Ever Tees (they don’t have the exact one but I linked a similar one) in case I get chilly! If I do need to throw that in, I borrowed purple Lost Princess eats from Aloha and matching tiara from my best friend, so I can swap my ears out to match.
Days 3 & 4 my mom and I head to Magic Kingdom and I have a tank top from The Crafty Sunflower and an old Disney Store Christmas t-shirt, that I’ll likely wear each of those days (depending on the temperature). The tank is black with You Know Who You Are across the front in turquoise and the grandma’s stingray tattoo from Moana across the back and the Disney Store shirt has Mickey all adorned for Christmas on it.
I’ll pair the Mickey shirt with my black sequin ears and Christmas bow and the Moana shirt with black sequin ears and an aqua bow.
I also have my black Pretty Little Monograms popover and Have Courage and Be Kind Once Upon Apparel sweatshirt for each of those days if it cools down enough.
Day 5 will bring us to Animal Kingdom, where I’ll wear my hakuna matata shirt from The Crafty Sunflower and rose gold sequin ears from my shop.
Then we make the sad trip home, where I’ll have to throw on my Bibbidi Bobbidi (be you) sweatshirt from Bibbidi Bobbidi Brooke so I don’t freeze when we land in CT.
I also got myself a millennial pink Magic Band and have some BBBand buttons on it and I packed a few more to go on my Passholder Magic Band when I get there. I’m hoping to snag a red one, if it’s available, to go with all my Christmas stuff.
And, of course I’ll be rocking lots of my favorite Lillian & Co bangles!
