When my family and I went to Disney World in November/December 2017, one member of our party was our 5-year-old niece! In this post, I'll talk about our experiences with her and some of my thoughts as far as tips and tricks on taking a kid to The Happiest Place on Earth. I do need to preface all of this by saying my hubby and I do not have children, nor do we intend to. But, we love our niece to pieces and loved getting to spend such a magical week with her and my family.

Disneyland Birthday Trip
Turning 31 isn't exactly the most exciting thing, but we decided to make it more so by taking a trip to Disneyland! You may have read my post about planning a Disneyland trip last year, but that trip ended up falling through and we never got to go. Huge bummer because we were excited, but we'd already bought a 2-day Park Hopper ticket, so we knew we had to make it out there before the tickets expired. I won't go into ever last detail since you can read about a lot of it in that prior post, but a lot of our plans this time are different, so read along if you want to hear all about it. 🙂

Planning to Visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
This post is going to be about a different kind of magic - Harry Potter! Hubby and I are planning to spend the last full day we have in Orlando hanging out at Hogwarts, drinking Butterbeer, and riding the Hogwarts Express, so I'll give a little insight into what our plans are and what I've found in my enthusiastic research into this little 1-day jaunt away from Disney World.

What to Pack
It's important to have a packing list for every trip you take, but there's a lot more to think about when that trip is to Disney World. I'll talk about packing tips that may seem obvious to some and also some less common ones that'll make your travel and vacation even better.
