Thingamabobs Series: Accessories
The third post in my Thingamabobs Series is all about accessories, odds and ends, and other miscellaneous goodies. 🙂
If you missed the first two, you can click here to read about my mouse ear collection (though that was written before I learned to make my own and I’ve definitely added more from other shops since then) and you can click here to read my apparel post.
I’m just going to go in alphabetical order, by shop, and share everything I’m loving!
If you follow anyone in the Disney small shop instagram community, you’ve probably heard of her. And if you read my post about my ear collection, you’ve seen her amazing ears already. BUT she also makes pins and keychains and, occasionally, holographic phone decals!

If you read the Thingamabobs Series: Mouse Ears post, you’ve seen this baby in action. But, it’s freaking awesome, I had to take the chance to rave about it again. I won this ear display in an instagram contest but this baby is worth every penny she charges!

My display is even more overflowing now than it was when I took these photos for the blog post back in July, so I am going to be ordering a second one as soon as I can figure out where to put it!
When I started the blog and decided I needed pretty business cards, the next (and obvious) step was to order equally as pretty and Disney-inspired card holders to carry them around in! Enter Fantasyland Art! You can order right on her instagram and I grabbed this Spaceship Earth pattern with a gem for a button, because, why not?? I also love all those sketchbook patterns and ones with all sorts of random icons (like my Dooney), so these both were just perfect for me.

I have both ears and cozies from this shop, but this post focuses on those cozies. I use these for iced drinks because the felty lining works so well with the condensation. I have 3 cozies from her – 1 is an Ariel one from an old Cafe Forty Seven box, plus the 2 pictured below! I keep 1 at work and 1 in each of the glove compartments of my car and my husband’s, so I’m already prepared!
This shop is amazing for working with you on an order! She makes ears, cozies, headbands, and card holders and you can pretty much send her a message about any fabric (on any item) from her instagram and see if she’ll make the item you want in that fabric. If she’s got the fabric on hand, chances are you’ll be in luck!
Lillian & Co. makes bracelets with inspiring phrases and sayings on them. I have several of them with some of my favorite quotes, and they have recently started to mean even more to me. I’ve mentioned already that we went through a rough patch recently, and looking down at my wrist and seeing Keep Moving Forward or Go Live Your Dream has really meant a lot to me. Paired with my amazing rose gold Dreamer watch, I love carrying subtle Disney love with me every single day.
I only just got my PARC Pack (made by Main Street Press) a couple weeks ago and haven’t gotten the chance to travel with it yet but I can tell you I’m already in love! It’s made to be a stylish and safe way to transport your favorite ears, pins, and other must-have park accessories (like jewelry and sunglasses). This bag is amazing!!! I should be able to safely and easily fit 5 pairs of the ears I make in here, plus some interchangeable bows!
I already talked about coffee cozies, but I prefer to use those for iced coffee and I prefer crocheted cozies for hot coffee (I know, I know, how extra can I be).
I have 2 cozies from her shop, 1 in each glove compartment (I have ones I made for myself at work!).
The first is Mouse Love in black, purple, & pink on a mint green cozy.

The second is Rosie Mouse on the fuchsia cozy, which I think isn’t done justice in the photo. It is the brightest, hottest, most fabulous pink in person!

These honestly belong in a home decor category but I don’t have nearly as much Disney-inspired home decor as I’d like and these stunning signs NEED to be mentioned!
This first beauty was a Christmas gift from my best friend and it may have been the very first Salty Moose design that caught my eye! I have a little corner of our guest room where I have all my Disney stuff displayed and this is hanging right above my ear display.

This beauty is, sadly, one of her retired designs and I am so glad I snagged it in its final sale! When you enter our apartment, you immediately go up a half flight of stairs, hit a landing, and go up the rest of the stairs. This is hanging right on that landing so it’s one of the very first things everyone sees as the enter our apartment and it makes me smile every time I walk by it. ❤

Sales and news on what’s stocking, what’s retiring, and info on mugs and t-shirts are always posted on instagram.
Thanks so much for checking all these wonderful, small business goodies. What are some of your favorite accessories?
